Debit cards are not subject to charges; credit cards will be subject to an additional 2% per transaction. No provisional bookings will be taken under any circumstances.

Children attending Bannatyne’s Health Clubs must be linked to an active member who is either a parent/guardian/grandparent of the child. Should this membership lapse during the swim block this may restrict access to the club and the Swimwell lessons. In this instance no refunds for swim lessons will be offered.

Once your swim lessons have started, we regret that we cannot issue refunds or credits.

One to one, one to two and one to three lessons must be booked in a minimum of 4 consecutive lessons with no cancellations or refunds available. These lessons must be booked at least 7 days prior to the start of the 4 lesson booking to guarantee the space. Lessons will be in line with school terms and will take into account the main school holiday periods. As public holidays are not the same for every school, some lessons will take place on local public holidays. Make-up lessons will only apply to lessons missed in the unlikely event of a pool closure.

Pool Closures: Swimwell Scotland Ltd hires pools from various different schools / councils / health clubs, and therefore is not directly responsible for pool maintenance. This obviously means occasionally we come across problems out with our control. Closures are very rare, as pools are generally will maintained. In the event of a closure, we will contact each customer individually by text message. Please, can you ensure that Swimwell have the most up-to-date email address and mobile telephone number for quick communication purposes.

Any missed lessons will be added onto the end of the current block. If a swimmer is not returning at the end of t he block, a catch-up lesson will be offered. No refunds will be given.

Pool Etiquette

Poolside spectating is NOT permitted in any of the Swimwell venues. We ask parents to respect the other pool users. Fire exits and corridors should also be kept clear at all times.

Unfortunately, teachers get ill like everyone else, and therefore Swimwell Scotland Ltd reserves the right to use alternative teachers qualified to an appropriate level should your regular teacher be unavailable.
