To develop basic swimming movements and develop correct stroke technique. Increase distance through introduction of breathing practices. Swimming distance will typically be between 10m and 20m.
Kick 5m using an alternative kick unassisted (back)
Kick 5m using a butterfly kicking action.
Kick 5m using a breast stroke kicking action.
A feet first surface dive to show complete submersion.
Swim 10am full stroke backcrawl with basic technique.
Swim 10m full stroke breast stroke with basic technique.
Swim 10m frontcrawl with regular breathing to the side.
Swim 10m breastroke with regular breathing.
Push and glide on back, arms stretched overhead.
Scull head first on the back for a distance of 5m.
In deep water tread water for 10 seconds.
Push and glide underwater through a hoop 5m away.
